NH Spring Cleaning: Decluttering, Where to Donate, & Green Cleaning Tips

Tuesday, March 29, 2016

Again this year, I set out on a quest—to clean and clear through the clutter in my home. Thus, I began my journey on Nourishing Minimalism’s 2016 in 2016 Decluttering Challenge. Though I sometimes wonder if I will ever fill the entire chart and empty my home of clutter, I am proud that to date I am quickly learning how to lessen the mess.

Now that spring has sprung, cleaning is ever on my mind. I stumble on a number of dog-eared magazines and a veritable hoard of dried-out pens! These items are easily recycled or tossed. However, when I find small appliances we have since upgraded from, and gently-loved toys and clothing, I start to wonder if there is more I could do. Could emptying my house fill someone else with some joy?
