The UNH Cooperative Extension Strafford County Master Gardeners Association annual plant sale will take place in the Durham Town Hall parking lot, 15 Newmarket Road (Rt. 108), on Sunday, May 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come and enjoy a spring day, purchase perennials, annuals, vegetables, herbs and trees at discounted prices. Perhaps you would just like to consult with one of our many Master gardeners who will be available to answer questions.
This annual fund raising event provides resources for Strafford County programs in gardening for children and adults. Your support allows numerous gardens to succeed and enrich our community and our earth. Get your garden off to a good start by giving back to your community and keeping change in your pocket too! Stop in to get some locally grown plants from the Master Gardener’s own gardens.
Joan Van Landingham, SCMGA plant sale coordinator adds: “This year’s Master Gardeners Annual Plant Sale will contribute greatly to our Master Gardener goal of reaching more people with up-to-date , reliable knowledge about gardening, healthy soil, pest management and much more. It is always a fun-filled day in which trained and passionate volunteer gardeners come together to help more of our neighbors discover how to enjoy and protect the value of gardening and horticulture around their homes.”
