Event Details

The music we listen to every day says a lot about us and about our society. Pleasures of the Parlor is an entertaining examination of musical life in Victorian America, illustrated with paintings, readings and beautiful singing by Miss Marya Danihel. Charming melodies, heartfelt poetry, and wry humor serve to render this presentation as amusing as it is instructive.

This program is free and open to the public through a grant from the NH Humanities’ Humanities to Go! Speaker’s Bureau.
