Event Details

Eleven species of owls can be seen in New Hampshire but at this time of year some of the year-round residents are setting up territory and beginning their families. Join long-time birder and owl prowler Tom Warren as he shares slides, recordings and information about owl behavior. After the indoor presentation, the group will venture out to listen for the sounds of barred owls and possibly other species as they declare their territory and search for mates.
Tom Warren is a trustee for NH Audubon and has led owl prowls and other birding trips throughout the US and Canada. Come prepared to be outside, dress warmly.
