The Meredith Fine Craft Gallery is hosting a special 4-part lecture series: The Art of Photography Retold.
This series is intended as an educational opportunity to enhance your knowledge of traditional photography, and to meet a diverse group of photographers who use the wet darkroom in their unique ways.
Make plans to join us for a journey into the art behind photography – from the camera used to getting into “the zone”.
The third lecture takes place on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 6:30 – 7:30 PM and will feature photographer, Nan Scull, who will take you through a day in the life of a film photographer, starting with the mindset of the photographer, which can be channeled like that of a Yogic Experience. Nan will walk you through the process of creating an image, step by step, and will discuss the zone system and how it influences the journey to achieve the final results of the photographic image.
All lectures in the series are free and open to the public, and will be held at the Meredith Community Center, 1 Circle Drive in Meredith, NH 03253.
The final lecture features Bonnie Edwards on September 11.
To inquire about the lectures, call us at (603) 279-7920 or stop into the gallery at 279 Daniel Webster Highway, Meredith, NH.
