Event Details

Trees, shrubs and wildflowers play a critical role in NH’s environment. Today we will explore these connections, adaptations and climate challenges and how they impact the animal life on the MAC sanctuary.

Classes are for ages 7-12. Join us as we delve into the fascinating world of Phenology. Phenology is the study of cyclic and seasonal natural phenomena, especially in relation to climate and plant and animal life. Join us as we explore natural history topics and the effects of seasonal weather trends on our various plants and animal systems.

Parents are encouraged to stay and participate. Students should have basic reading and writing skills. Please dress to be outside. Pre-registration required for all classes. Call us at 668-2045 or visit http://www.nhaudubon.org/learn/ to register online.
