The Milford Improvement Team and the Town of Milford will be presenting the 4th Annual Make-It Milford* event on Tuesday, March 21st, from 5 pm– 7pm at Milford Town Hall. Located at 1 Union Square, the event will be held on the 3rd Floor Banquet Hall.
About the Event:
Each March, the Milford Improvement Team partners with the Town of Milford to host a “We are Open for business” style event!
We bring together experts from the Town of Milford and the private sector: Commercial real estate brokers, Commercial Lenders from Local Banks, Commercial Insurance agents, an Attorney and more PLUS the Town officials from Milford’s Community Development, Fire Departments and Building departments who are there to answer questions all the tough questions. We will also have a volunteer Mentor from the Merrimack Valley SCORE Chapter to discuss start-ups and the services they provide. SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship.
If you are a new or existing business looking to start, relocate or expand your business in the Town of Milford, this is the event for you.
Join us as we dive deep into the inner workings of starting, relocating, or expanding your business in Milford. A panel of experienced town officials and experts from the private sector will present an interactive panel discussion including topics such as:
• Insight on how to get started with the process of starting, relocating or expanding your business
• Tips and tools from town officials in navigating the process
• How to overcome obstacles
• Resources available to help
• Plenty of Q&A time
Come armed with your questions and leave with the confidence you need to start, run or grow your business in Milford!
Light Refreshments will be served.
Bordering the picturesque Monadnock Region, close to the urban centers of Nashua and Manchester and an hour’s drive from the Seacoast, White Mountains and Boston, the Souhegan Valley is conveniently located to all. And within the heart of the valley lies the Town of Milford with its historical and charming town center.
With a wide variety of places to shop, to dine, to work, to reside, and to recreate, Milford is a great example of a convenient yet tradition-rich modern New England town. Although Milford has a population of 15,000+, the town is the central business hub of the eleven towns that comprise the Souhegan Valley region:
*Roads 101 and 101A and Routes 13 and 122, provide convenient traffic routes into Milford.
*Milford has a thriving area population, and higher than average household incomes.
As the most populated town in the valley and home to some of the most prestigious businesses in the State, such as Hitchiner Manufacturing, Alene Candles, and Airmar Technology, Milford draws commuters and shoppers from over 19 surrounding towns. A new business opening in Milford has immediate access to 60,000+ potential customers residing in the primary trade area and an additional 80,000+ potential customers living in the secondary trade area.
